The old enemy returned to Anfield, and the result was... we, a little dire. Kay talks to Greg Johnson (MUFC fan) and Guy Drinkel (LFC fan) in turning his one over. We discuss how the injuries effected the game and game plans, the flash points of the game (including *that* De Gea save), the LFC penalty shout and which players impressed and which depressed our panel. We end by talking about Klopp and his changing approach to system and setup.

Another energy sapping result from the Reds, it perhaps a welcome break now for international games as Liverpool FC tries to sort itself out. Kay is joined by Kam Brainch and Newcastle fan, Jake Jackman to discuss a game that, for Reds fans, has become quite familiar. We talk Newcastle's defensive strength, the goals, a possible red card, Gini Wijnaldum and even a look a what the fixture list holds beyond the international break for both teams.

A win, finally, for the Reds makes this an easier post match pod than most in recent weeks. Kay, Jim and Allen discuss the topsy turvy game, the penalty incident, the level of officiating and the players that impressed them the most. The LFC defence was also discussed along with both keepers possibly costing their team a goal each. (and how reactions on either teams fan base will differ).

Cover your eyes, we've busted out a new format just for this week (as needs must). It's the Kay and Guy show! A two man pod to dissect the Burnley game. We talk about Klopp press comments, rotation, Phil, "that game we've seen before", and our striking options.

AI Face Off Podcast: Man City 5 Liverpool 0 - Fan Reaction

An atrocious game for the Reds with nothing positive to take away, it was difficult to even gauge how good City were given how dire Liverpool was. Still Joe Doherty (City Fan and podcaster) and Leanne Prescott (AI Writer) have a go. We discuss the red card and the game until then. We then move focus to the LFC defensive shambles and invisible midfield, while highlighting the intelligence and talent in City's midfield and forward line. We end by having a look at whether this game could significantly affect the foreseeable form of either team going forward.

A post match pod to savour for LFC fans, as the Red demolished Arsenal at home. We talk to Arsenal fan, Amanda, who lets loose on the Arsenal manger and Board with some passionate and emotional hubris. Guy, meanwhile, revels in our deadly attack, and midfield that purred like a brand new engine. We end by asking how the respective clubs can handle loosing their want-away best players in Sanchez and Coutinho.

The Face Off Podcast: Liverpool 1 Crystal Palace 0 - Fan Reaction

The first game of the season for the Reds at Anfield saw Liverpool pip Palace to the spoils with a 1-0 victory. We look back over the game to a somewhat dour first half, a better performance in the second and the impact of the subs. While concerns are still there for the midfield and defence, we chat about a better control in the Reds game, despite facing a somewhat undercooked Palace team.

First game of the new season, and LFC kicks off at Watford. Similarly, Kay, Guy and Watford Fan, Bradley Hayden, open up the pods account for 2017/18. We discuss how the teams looked given that it's the first game of the season, and what we learnt from pre-season. We discussed the game, in which either side was relatively dominant on either side of the break, as well as the goals, which sported rather interesting defending, and some promising attacking play.

Face Off: Keita YouTube Scouting

Face Off returns for it's first instalment of the new season in which the panel looks to the Naby Keita transfer in a slightly different light. We take a fan perspective to try to dig through what the player could potentially offer, and whether he might really be worth his target. This is done in light of current midfield options available at the club. Certainly not a deeply analytical pod, the discussion does try to put our transfers in a different light, while having quite a bit of fun along the way.

A smashing win takes the Reds to the cusp of Champions League Football. Kay is joined by Charlie Pulling (co-editor of Backpage Football) and Alexey Yaroshevsky (AI YaRaw!) to take us through the game reaction. We talk Sturridge, Coutinho, a lacking West Ham defence, *that* Ayew miss, discontent from West Ham fans, and lots, lots more. Onward to the Boro game!

A dour draw, but our pod takes off anyway with Saints fan , Sam Cox, and host of the AI preview show, Hari Sethi. We take of the philosophical implications of the Moreno bottle toss, the lack of chance creation as a common theme with the Reds now, the defensive strength of the Saints, heroics from Foster, and a couple of handballs. More fun than the game? Probably

As close as LFC have come to a regulation 1-0 win this season, a wonder goal from Emre Can seals the pints for the reds. Kay is joined by Grizz Khan (Reds fan) and Matt Storey (Writer and Watford fan). We look at an otherwise dour game lit up by periods of sudden excitement at the end of the two halves. We discuss the defensive stance of Watford and perhaps a bid to get onto teh front foot too early. For LFC it's all about Emre Can, although Lucas does his best with a pass right after he recovered from running out of oxygen.
