Liverpool Transfer News: Reds Receive Huge Michael Olise Boost

Liverpool’s interest in Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise has been well documented over recent years – even all the way back to his Crystal Palace days.

The Frenchman’s world-class form since joining the German giants has done nothing to squash that interest either.

However, Liverpool are yet to move past that stage of interest. The 24-year-old remains under contract until the summer of 2029, but he continues to be linked with a move away from Munich.

The latest update coming from the Bundesliga champions could be pushing him closer to the exit door than ever before…

Bayern Want Olmo

Sky Sports have today reported that Bayern Munich are considering a January move to sign FC Barcelona forward Dani Olmo.

Reporter Lyall Thomas said: “Bayern Munich are lining up a potential January move for Barcelona forward Dani Olmo.”

“Amid growing interest from other clubs in Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise, Bayern are making contingency plans for a new forward.”

“The German club have had a long-term interest in Olmo since a successful four-year spell in Germany with RB Leipzig, and they have been watching his continued growth at Barca.”

“But he would not come cheap, with his valuation in the region of £70m.”

Who Are in the Race for Olise?

Of course the interesting line for Liverpool fans here is about the interest in Olise. Liverpool have been the club most heavily linked with the Frenchman.

A return to France with PSG had been mentioned, but they have completely rebuilt their attack in the summer. This, of course, led to Bradley Barcola arriving at Anfield.

Real Madrid have also been interested previously, but spent big on a right-winger in Yan Diomande just a couple of months ago.

There’s not a team in Europe that would pass on Olise in the form he is displaying at the moment.

But Liverpool are the one massive European club in desperate need for a right-winger, where Olise would fit perfectly…
