Liverpool's Premier League fixture list for the upcoming season

The Premier League fixtures for the 2020/21 campaign were released this morning ahead of the season’s start which will be on September 12th.

That first weekend, Liverpool welcome newly-promoted Leeds United to Anfield to get their title defence underway.

The season starts a month later than normal due to the unplanned break during the 2019/20 season because of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic.

After playing Leeds at Anfield, Liverpool then face two more tough encounters in September – away to Chelsea and home to Arsenal.

The first Merseyside derby of the season is pencilled in for October 17th at Goodison Park with the return fixture at Anfield on February 20th.

Other dates to note from the fixture list are as follows:

  • Manchester City (A) – November 7th
  • Spurs (H) – December 16th
  • Manchester United (H) – January 16th
  • Spurs (A) – January 27th
  • Manchester City (H) – February 6th
  • Chelsea (H) – March 20th
  • Arsenal (A) – April 3rd
  • Manchester United (A) – May 1st

Liverpool’s final league game of the season is at home to Crystal Palace on May 23rd.

The Reds play their part in the traditional season curtain-raiser at Wembley on Saturday week (August 29th) against FA Cup winners Arsenal.
