A brilliant outing for the ever popular forward. His work rate and skill on the ball was tremendous, with some moments of great pressing evident. Was a willing tracker of runs, as he offered ample support to James Milner when needed. The first goal was very well taken, and the second was a truly magnificent piece of skill.
As a 6th or 7th choice forward, he is a much needed squad member, that isn’t allowing any drop off in these domestic competitions.
A very good game.
