Podcast Jumpers For Goalposts: Liverpool in Transition

In this thoughtful and often lighthearted episode of Jumpers For Goalposts, the late Jan Gorski-Mescir hosts a candid discussion on Liverpool FC’s form during a transitional period. The panel dissects the challenges Brendan Rodgers faced following Luis Suárez’s departure, the inconsistency of new signings, and the club's return to Champions League football. Amid the football analysis are touching reflections on Liverpool culture, shout-outs to journalists like Tony Barrett, and tongue-in-cheek talk of forming a band of "old farts." As always, Jan’s warm presence and quick wit hold the conversation together. Originally aired under the title There Were Three, this episode is re-released in memory of Jan – a passionate fan, sharp mind, and much-missed voice in the LFC community.
