A city, a football club and a remarkable journey through history. Jumpers for Goalposts is a beautifully crafted documentary podcast series created, researched and narrated by the late Jan Gorski-Mescir, affectionately known as Fydsy. Beginning with Bill Shankly’s arrival in 1959, Jan brings Liverpool’s extraordinary transformation to life, weaving together footballing triumphs, Scouse culture, music and social history. An evocative journey through the people, places and moments that shaped a city and its beloved football club, preserved as a lasting tribute to one of Anfield Index’s most cherished voices.
