Podcast Legends Lowdown: Jason McAteer – DROP THE ROPE, MAN

On this episode of Legends Lowdown Trev Downey is joined by Jason McAteer for a wide-ranging chat, beginning with the former Liverpool and Ireland star’s recent meeting with Mona Nemmer, LFC’s head of nutrition, which leads the lads to discuss the contrast between the 90s and modern football’s approach to food, drink and refuelling. After that, the talk turns to the psychology of the modern footballer and the attitude to club stars of the past, which leads the conversation neatly on to Jason’s wonderful work around mental health. The show finishes with a look ahead to the Watford game and Mr McAteer is, as ever, tremendous value.
