Podcast Rival Recon: Liverpool v Crystal Palace 23/24

Rival Recon returns as the Reds relinquished complete control of their own destiny last weekend by failing to beat an abject Manchestser United time for the second time this season at Old Trafford. Klopp’s side then followed this up with a humiliating 3-0 home loss to Atalanta in the Europa League to pile on the pressure this weekend, as they welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield this Sunday.

With only wins acceptable from here on out, Klopp will be hoping for a reaction from his players and returning first teamers, when Oliver Glasner’s struggling Palace side arrive at Anfield this weekend.

Joining Hari on the pod this week to discuss how Palace’s season has unfolded, whether they’re really too good to go down and what the future will look like for this side as Glasner takes full control, we welcome on Joe Walker from the Five Year Plan and International Clearance podcast
