Liverpool have made a great start in the Premier League this year and are currently in fourth place after Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal. The Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has hinted that he suspects Premier League glory for his team, but has said that he cannot openly declare this as ‘everybody will go nuts.’

From a Liverpool perspective Monday night was a night of frustration. Jose Mourinho's Manchester United arrived at Anfield with a clear game plan in mind and to their credit they executed it to near perfection. They stifled, smothered and dictated where Liverpool could and couldn't play.
For Liverpool fans it felt like deja-vu. There they...
It was always going to happen. A combination of the pause for the international break combined with a perfect storm of players being injured and others being rusty from a period on the medical table was enough to disrupt the momentum that Liverpool were beginning to build.
In all honesty there were signs before the...
The international break is over, and oh boy is it over. We resume Premier League action with arguably the biggest fixture of the English footballing season. It's Liverpool vs Manchester United. At Anfield. On Monday night. Under the lights.

However,...
The wheels threaten to come off Liverpool's good start to the season when within a space of a week both Adam Lallana and Gini Wijnaldum picked up injuries and with fierce rivals Manchester United on the horizon two thirds of the Reds' starting midfield looked set to miss the tie. One of the few...
Some weeks make you wish God had come up with something other than knees - weeks when you can't wear shorts for fear of seeing your own knees in a mirror and losing all sense of what it means to 'be'. It has been a year since the beginning of one such week, when as...
