Liverpool take on Leicester City at Anfield today in the Premier League. Here’s the starting lineup we think Jurgen Klopp will select for this huge fixture.
Apart from Alisson Becker – who it seems this game may just have arrived too soon for – The Reds should be at full strength.
Adrian will continue in goals in place of Alisson. The Spaniard, besides the mishap against Southampton, has done a wonderful job after being called upon just a few days after arriving at Anfield on a free transfer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be at right-back while Joel Matip should return in the centre alongside Virgil van Dijk. Matip was rested for the Champions League game with RB Salzburg on Wednesday night after picking up a slight knock but he should be back in action this weekend. Andrew Robertson will play on the left.
The trio of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum seems to be the midfield lineup Klopp regards as first-choice this season.
In attack, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané will lead the line against Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes.
Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3) Vs Leicester City: Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mané
