Liverpool get knocked out in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup by Chelsea after a 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge. Another really poor and disappointing performance from the Reds as they fall to their third defeat in four games, in three different competitions.

Adrian – 5

You can’t make mistakes like the one he made for the Willian goal, but made a couple of very good stops as well.

Neco Williams – 5

Started brightly and delivered a couple of nice crosses early on, however as the game progressed he began to struggle and was sloppy in possession.

Joe Gomez – 6

Felt like neither of the centre backs were tested too much. Got unlucky when defending against Giroud when the Frenchman hit the bar.

Virgil van Dijk – 6

Was positioned well for numerous dangerous crosses from Chelsea.

Andy Robertson – 5

Had very little synergy with Origi down that left hand side which stifled his attacking presence.

Fabinho – 4

Still yet to get back to the form he showed before his injury. Looked very slow off the ball.

Adam Lallana – 4 (Off at 80 mins)

So slow, so weak. So long, Adam.

Curtis Jones – 5 (Off at 70 mins)

Showed some nice touches and turns but wasn’t in the game enough.

Sadio Mane – 6

The most threatening of the attacking players, but couldn’t get anything going enough to find the net.

Takumi Minamino – 5

Had some good moments but was anonymous for large portions.

Divock Origi – 4 (Off at 70 mins)

Looking a long way away from a Premier League-level forward, at the moment.

Roberto Firmino – 5 (On at 70 mins)

James Milner – 5 (On at 70 mins)

Meh. Booked.

Mo Salah – 5 (On at 80 mins)
