Mohamed Salah wins again as his impressive campaign continues and the Arsenal vs Liverpool fixture is rescheduled.

With much of the Liverpool squad away on international duty and Jürgen Klopp’s men not playing their next game until April, it’s sure to be a quiet week around the club. However, here’s a brief update on everything LFC-related this week.

Salah wins Player of the Month for the third consecutive time

This week, Mohamed Salah was presented with his third Standard Chartered Player of the Month award in a row for Liverpool. Salah already picked up the title for December and January. Now, he has added February as well.

Salah started all six Liverpool games in February, scoring three goals throughout.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com when presented with his award, Salah said:

“It’s a nice feeling to be winning it again.

“It’s a good feeling and I’m happy about our last results, so hopefully we can just keep winning.

“It’s tough for all of us because of the situation we have been through and our position in the Premier League, but I believe it’s going to be better. In the Champions League, we are doing good.

“I don’t want to just talk about my season because we play as a team, so I’d say it’s a tough season for all of us and we just need to carry on and try to win games.

“I just want to say thank you very much for voting for me. We’re going to give our 100 per cent to win the next few games and hopefully, we can do that and do good also in the Champions League.”

Arsenal vs Liverpool fixture rescheduled due to Champions League clash

Liverpool’s next game, their Premier League clash at Arsenal, was due to take place on Sunday, April 4th. However, following the Champions League draw it was confirmed that Jürgen Klopp’s Reds would be playing Real Madrid in Spain on the following Tuesday, 48 hours later.

As a result, the Arsenal vs Liverpool fixture has been brought forward to Saturday, April 3rd. It will kick off at 8pm and is to be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland.
