“I think it’s more to do with… getting feet on the ground, trying to make things happen, trying to negotiate, trying to maybe talk to players in a way that will enthuse them about the project,” Honigstein said.

Jude Bellingham has been a hot topic among Liverpool fans for some time now. The talented midfielder, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, has attracted interest from several top clubs. However, Honigstein confirms reports from last month that Liverpool may no longer be in the market for Bellingham at this point, as Dortmund’s valuation of the player is now considered prohibitive.
“Real Madrid have made the most progress in trying to secure his signature, while clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool are not in the market for him at this point,” Honigstein told Davis.
