Ekitike In, Isak Shaken: Liverpool Disrupt Newcastle’s Plans
There were some Newcastle United fans who breathed a sigh of relief when Liverpool signed Hugo Ekitike. They presumed that meant that Alexander Isak was safe at St James’ Park.
Good luck with that one. The interest from the Reds seriously destabilised the Sweden forward. He can see greener grass on the fields of Anfield Road. Whatever the outcome of this transfer drama, Newcastle, Isak and the supporters on the Gallowgate will never feel the same about each other again. Cue another one-sided rivalry with Geordies despising us.
Liverpool the Bullies: How the Reds Became the Club to Fear
Liverpool have suddenly become one of football’s biggest bullies. Those words should lift the heart of every Kopite. Clubs and fans hate it when they’re on the receiving end but when you’re top dog, it’s a thing of beauty.
Isak may yet go full-on Coutinho – remember how much everyone despised that situation and the fury they directed towards the Brazilian? It turned out alright for Liverpool, though.
