Champions League Draw: Liverpool’s League Phase Opponents Confirmed

Liverpool come into the new season with renewed optimism under head coach Andoni Iraola.

Despite their domestic struggles, the Reds still enoyed a solid run in the Champions League with victories over the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

However, they were knocked out by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.

But Liverpool have now found out their Champions League fixtures for the league phase and we can start to plot out their route to another memorable European campaign.

Both of Liverpool’s pot one fixtures are repeats from last year. The Reds beat 1-0 Inter Milan at the San Siro and a late Virgil van Dijk winner sent Liverpool fans crazy in the 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid at Anfield.

Liverpool fans will also have pleasant memories of facing FC Porto at Anfield in the Champions League and there will also be a reunion with LASK Linz, who the Reds faced in the UEFA Europa League back in 2023.
