The lineup and subsequent ratings are listed below.
Alisson Becker – 6.0
The giant Brazilian stopper was let down again as his former teammate, Harry Wilson, was allowed to scamper through on goal and slot into the far corner.
After the restart, the Reds’ world-class keeper was a relative spectator as he watched his side try to force their way back into the game. An unstoppable second goal left the LFC keeper helpless for the stoppage time equaliser.
Conor Bradley – 6.0
The Northern Irish fullback was limited on the ball and rarely called to arms in his defensive third, however, he could have been more switched on for the Wilson goal.
In the second half, he became more aggressive and laid on the vital assist for the Reds’ equaliser.
Milos Kerkez – 6.0
The Hungarian international lacked real attacking output and struggled to get into the game, which was played at an underwhelming pace.
After the intermission, the novice full-back gained more traction and showed greater endeavour to contribute.

Dominik Szoboszlai – 7.0
The Hungarian skipper was quietly effective, if underwhelming compared to his usual season form.
When the match resumed, the former RB Leipzig man was more interactive with his teammates as he looked to supply the qualities needed to get his team back in the game. The goal was well deserved and he was unlucky not to see that as the winner.
Ryan Gravenberch – 6.0
The Dutch midfielder was too vacant at times and struggled to get into the game.
After the half-time break, the former Ajax prodigy was again a passenger as he looked to screen his zone.
Curtis Jones – 6.0
The England international was neither good nor bad as he failed to bring the tempo to a more aggressive level.
After the break, the academy graduate was more willing to step forward and force the issue as they followed the lead of Wirtz.
Florian Wirtz – 7.0
The German attacker was less effective in this half as the game state was too slow and too repetitive
In the second half, the world-class technician was the bright spark who dragged his team back into the contest with smart pressing, intelligent passing and a very well taken equaliser that found the far corner off his curling side-footed effort.
