Liverpool’s summer rebuild is beginning to sharpen into focus, with Adam Wharton emerging as a player of significant interest as the club look to reshape their midfield under newly appointed head coach Andoni Iraola.

For Liverpool, that skill set would be valuable. Ryan Gravenberch’s best football may come slightly higher up the pitch, while Alexis Mac Allister endured a difficult 2025/26 campaign. Curtis Jones’ future has also been the subject of uncertainty, creating a clear need for fresh structure and balance.
