Fabrizio Romano Confirms Liverpool’s First Summer Signing
Liverpool have completed their first move of the summer window and it was completely out of the blue.
As Fabrizio Romano reported late last night, Liverpool have triggered the €40m release clause to sign Spanish winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna.
The 22-year-old had looked set to join Premier League side Newcastle United, but Liverpool have hijacked the deal at the last moment.

This one is moving incredibly fast and official confirmation is expected very soon.
Speaking on Instagram, Romano confirmed that Munoz has signed his Liverpool contract and has completed his medical whilst in the USA for the World Cup.
“BREAKING: Victor Munoz has signed his contract at Liverpool, HERE WE GO CONFIRMED!”
“The agreement is valid until June 2032 for Spanish winger as hijack was completed by €40m release clause.”
“Victor Munoz has also completed his medical in the US.”

Munoz becomes the first bit of business carried out since the arrival of new head coach Andoni Iraola.
The forward joins Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet, who Liverpool agreed a £60m deal for back in January.
