Fabrizio Romano Confirms Major Liverpool Transfer Blow

Liverpool are not messing around in the transfer market. After last summer’s record-breaking spend, they could be at it once again.

After agreeing a £60m deal to sign Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes in January, today they have wrapped up another deal.

Osasuna winger Victor Munoz is set to join after Liverpool triggered his £34.5m release clause. But the fun isn’t stopping there…

According to David Ornstein, Liverpool have submitted an offer in the region of €100m for RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande.

However, that bid seems to have failed. For now…

Liverpool See Bid Rejected for Diomande

According to Fabrizio Romano, RB Leipzig have rejected Liverpool’s initial proposal and have slapped a mega price tag on the 19-year-old.

Posting on X, Romano said: “BREAKING: RB Leipzig turn down €100m proposal received from Liverpool for Yan Diomande.”

“RB Leipzig want more than €100m as still try to keep him – understand €120m could be the way… for now, based on WC performances too.”

“Leipzig expect PSG and other clubs to join the race.”

Liverpool definitely seem the frontrunnes for Diomande. However, as he continues to impress at the World Cup, they could face major competition for his signature.
