Liverpool's Champions League campaign was ended at the last-16 stage as they suffered defeat to PSG on penalties at Anfield.
The Reds' first-leg advantage was wiped out by Ousmane Dembele early doors and, despite both sides having plenty of chances, a shootout was required to separate them.
That ended in Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones failing to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma, securing the French champions' place in the next round.
Reds reporter David Lynch was there to see the action at Anfield, and feels the hosts put on a much-improved performance from the first leg.
However, he also feels the game spelled out where Slot and the recruitment staff will look to improve when summer comes around.
