On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Guy Drinkel and Karl Matchett form a mightily relieved trio as they reflect on the mildly traumatising 4-3 win over Crystal Palace at Anfield. It was an afternoon to forget from a defensive perspective for The Reds but with goals for each of the front three and another three points to ease further ahead of their nearest challengers, it was also incredibly significant. The lads, as always, examine all the key moments of the match and the performances of Jürgen Klopp and his charges, with Andy Robertson, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson getting plenty of praise. There may also be some indulgent Hodgson-bashing from the host, as he savours his post-match vitamin-enhanced energy drink.

There’s a wide variety of topics covered, as it’s been a busy week at Anfield, with contracts, injuries, Dubai travel plans and the small matter of maintaining focus on the next game and retaining the 4 point lead at the top of the table. On the latest episode of RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Hari Sethi reflect on The Reds’ win away at Brighton in The Premier League. The one goal margin of victory did not tell the full tale of the match which saw Liverpool dominate possession and create several chances. Stand-in centre-half, Fabinho, comes in for some praise, as does his partner, Virgil Van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum’s performance is also lauded but it was star man Mo Salah with the showing of the day - his dribbling, passing and link-up play was tremendous and, having created a penalty for himself, the Egyptian King stepped up to blast The Reds a further three points clear at the top of the table. There’s also some discussion about the Brighton fans damaged psyches and shocking haircuts. Lovely.
