Molby On The Spot – RESET BUTTON

On the latest Molby On The Spot, Trev Downey and Reds legend, Jan Molby, discuss the defeat to Manchester City and the exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Wolves but the mood of the show is far from funereal, with Jan putting some perspective on the loss to our title rivals and reassuring Trev that Klopp’s squad, even with the defensive injuries, has a run of 5 fixtures ahead which can see them consolidate and perhaps even extend their lead at the top of the Premier League. The first of those, away to Brighton is, as always, analysed in some detail.

Post Match RAW: NOT UP FOR THE CUP

On the latest episode of RAW, Trev Downey, Karl Matchett and Dave Hendrick pick the bones out of the FA Cup defeat to Wolves and it is a lot less dispiriting than you might imagine, with a heavy focus on the positives, like the performance of 16 year old Ki-Jana Hoever, the acclimatisation of Fabinho to what may be his new centre-back role and…well, they were pretty much the positives. Some of the senior players come in for some justifiable criticism as the lads expressed frustration with the likes of Naby Keita, Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri but James Milner’s misfortune provides some light relief.
