With the Reds trailing 1-0 at half time, having been completely outplayed by the home side, Klopp made changes to not just the personnel but also the shape and tactical approach.
By switching from a faltering 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1, and then to a 4-4-2 after the Reds had drawn level and Klopp had made two more substitutions, Liverpool were able to nullify the Wolves threat and dominate the game. Crucial to this was the move to get Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson tight to their men having allowed the Wolves wingers too much space in the first half.
