With the Reds trailing 1-0 at half time, having been completely outplayed by the home side, Klopp made changes to not just the personnel but also the shape and tactical approach. By switching from a faltering 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1, and then to a 4-4-2 after the Reds had drawn level and Klopp had made two more substitutions, Liverpool were able to nullify the Wolves threat and dominate the game.
