For the first time on the AnfieldIndex Pro + Podcast we've tried to do something a little different. Gags Tandon invites Dave Hendrick, Dan Kennett and Mo Chatra to re-create a transfer committee and try to plan Liverpool FC's summer with the best players possible within a budget. The following roles were set for the podcast: Gags Tandon - The Manager Dan Kennett - Lead Data Analyst Dave Hendrick - Head Scout Mo Chatra - Financial Director Gags set out the requirements for the squad, what types of characteristics the players need to have. Dave comes up with lists of players whilst Dan Kennett provides some statistical analysis of the players mentioned as well as any he has found by using the data. Mo Chatra discusses the valuations of the players and the types of deals they may need to be completed as which would have an effect on the budget. Mo Chatra also sets the budget at the start with some assumptions. In Part 2 the committee look for a wide forward, a number nine and some cheap options that Liverpool FC could explore. Make sure you tune in next week when the guys look for Nabil Fekir alternatives and make their final decision on what the transfer strategy will be for 2018/19!

Gags Tandon welcomes on Paul Dalglish to discuss the news that Nabil Fekir will soon join the LFC ranks. Paul discusses what he thinks of Nabil and how he differs to the other midfielders bought. Paul then looks at the qualities of the three players bought this summer by LFC and gives his verdict on them. During the show they also discuss what the good old days were like at Liverpool and how the club is now approaching that level again with their recruitment. Paul also talks about the pressure of expectation at LFC and how many players find that expectation difficult to deal with.
