Post Match RAW: VAR-Y FRUSTRATING

On the latest episode of RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Karl Matchett react to the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. On a day when The Reds were very poor for the vast majority of the match, the referee had an appalling afternoon, VAR colluded in allowing a United goal that should have been ruled out and then ruled out a Mané equaliser due to an accidental hand-ball, we should, perhaps, take some joy in the least likely of heroes in the shape of Adam Lallana and the fact that Liverpool snatched a point in such circumstances. As ever, the lads analyse the major incidents and assess the performances. It’s RAW - you know the drill.

Post Match RAW: LEICESTER OUTFOXED

On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Hari Sethi and Karl Matchett reflect on a dominant Liverpool performance which will see them go into the international fortnight at least 5 points clear of their nearest rivals on the back of a 2-1 home win over Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City. On a dramatic afternoon, Leicester provided a stern defensive barrier, which Jürgen Klopp’s wasteful Reds breached with regularity, whilst conceding only a solitary (and successful) shot on goal over the 90. As ever, the performances and key moments are analyzed and there is appropriate reveling in the injury time VAR-checked penalty by James Milner. Lovely stuff.

Post Match RAW: NEEDLESSLY TENSE

On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Hari Sethi reflect on a very Jekyll and Hyde performance by the Reds which saw them imperiously romp to a three nil lead before losing impetus and concentration and eventually edging a tense encounter with RB Salzburg by the odd goal in seven. As ever, the lads pick apart the match in forensic detail and analyse the performances, tactics and opposition.

Post Match RAW: BLADES PUT TO THE SWORD

On the latest episode of RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Karl Matchett reflect on Liverpool’s narrow victory over Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. As ever, the lads pick apart the team selections, the individual performances and the key moments. With The Reds sitting pretty at the top of the table, it would be churlish to moan about the nature of the win but it’s not all sweetness and light as your RAW analysts look at some of the things Jürgen Klopp’s side can still improve upon. Overall, however, it’s job done.

Post Match RAW: OH VAR EXCITED

The latest RAW sees Trev Downey, Hari Sethi and Jim Boardman reflecting on the 15th Reds’ win in a row - a 1-2 victory at Stamford Bridge against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea. There are several things to have a bit of a moan about, from substitutes to conceding territory and impetus in the second half, but the overall reaction from all three lads is that The Reds pulled off a fantastic result. As ever, all major moments and the individual performances are analysed and assessed and the VAR chat alone is worth your time.

Post Match RAW: CLEAR AND OBVIOUS?

On the latest RAW Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Karl Matchett discuss a very rare Liverpool defeat after The Reds suffered a 2-0 loss in the San Paolo against Napoli. Carlo Ancelotti’s men were a real test for Jürgen Klopp’s Premier League leaders and a combination of their good play, some disjointed football from Liverpool and a massively controversial penalty call led to another away defeat in Europe for the reigning Champions. As ever, all incidents and performances get put under the RAW microscope.

Post Match RAW: ROBERTO THE BRUCE

The latest RAW sees Trev Downey, Karl Matchett and Hari Sethi cheerfully pull apart Liverpool’s comprehensive 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Anfield. As always, the individual performances and the key moments are analysed and the lads revel in a Mané masterclass and a no-look Man Of The Match showing from Bobby Firmino. The Reds stay top regardless, the record is extended and the beat goes on…

Post Match RAW: REDS WIN TURF WAR

On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Karl Matchett discuss Liverpool’s emphatic 3-0 win over Burnley which sent them two points clear at the top going into the international break. As usual, the lads assess the individual performances and all the major talking points, with Bobby Firmino receiving much of the plaudits and Adrian being lauded for his keeping of a clean sheet. However, if you’re hoping for a long angsty section on the so-called falling-out between Mo Salah and Sadio Mané, I’m afraid the lads don’t share your concern.

Post Match RAW: GUNS AND OUR MO

On the latest episode of RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Karl Matchett reflect on the impressive and comprehensive Liverpool victory over Arsenal in the Premier League. As ever, the individual incidents and performances are assessed by the lads in the heat of the immediate aftermath and there is much pleasant and light-hearted chat amongst the analysis, with The Reds going clear at the top of the table in only the third game of the campaign.

Post Match RAW: COMETH THE MANÉ

On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Karl Matchett and Mo Chatra pick the bones out of a Jekyll and Hyde Reds performance as Jürgen Klopp’s men came away from St. Mary’s with a 2-1 win over Southampton. As ever, the lads look at every major incident and play of the match and the individual performances are assessed in the process. Needless to say, the goalkeeper is the focus of much of the discussion after an excellent display marred by some carelessness. A win, however, is a win and that is very much the lads’ overall take.
