On the latest RAW Trev Downey, Hari Sethi and Dave Hendrick spend a record 103 minutes talking about Brighton 2 Liverpool 2. Yet again, we have more PGMOL incompetence influencing a Liverpool game as Anthony Taylor fails to red card Solly March. Klopp's midfield selection leaves the lads in total confusion. Mac as the 6? Dom on the left? Harvey on the right against a team that loves to attack that flank? Why was Endo withdrawn at half time against Union? Had Gravenberch not earned a start ahead of Elliot? The continued insistence on the Trent experiment seems to have far more downside than up. Brighton were a far more cohesive unit than Liverpool in the first half but Mo Salah proves his class yet again to see the Reds go in ahead. Liverpool had very little by way of response to conceding the equaliser to leave Klopp's men with just one point from six.
On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Hari Sethi react to Liverpool's routine win over Union Saint Gilloise in the Europa League group stage. As ever, performances are assessed and key moments discussed with some specific discussion on: the renaissance of Joe Gomez, the promise of Ryan Gravenberch, the classy calm of Jarrell Quansah, the odd choice of not starting Curtis Jones and the happy knack Diogo Jota has for playing badly and scoring regardless.

On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Karl Matchett and Dave Hendrick reflect on the daylight robbery that occurred at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Liverpool went down 2-1 to Spurs in a manner that can be kindly described as highly dubious. As ever, the lads discuss the key moments and analyse the performances but yet again the chat is dominated by the ineptitude of the PGMOL fraternity. In today's case, Simon Hooper and Darren England were the men unfit for purpose on an afternoon which required a statement from their organisation that admitted to a "clear and factual error" as "VAR failed." Klopp's men put in a remarkable showing against the odds and were worthy of a point at the very least but, thanks in large part to the aforementioned jokers, it wasn't to be. Well worth a listen with the usual passion and humour during the analysis.
On this League Cup edition of Post Match Raw Guy is in his usual hosting chair and is joined by cup run hero Steven, and RAW regular Dave Hendrick to discuss the win over Leicester in the League Cup. The trio go through the game in usual detail as the reds took a little while to get going with the Championship side taking the lead early on, but Klopp's men rallied and of course won 3-1 which they are now contractually obliged to do.  Starting XI's  Early Leicester goal Defending transition VAR and the boring stuff Too soon for Doak? On today's episode Guy is in the hosting chair and is joined by Jim Boardman and Karl Matchett to discuss Liverpool's 3-1 win over West Ham at Anfield. The trio discuss the game in usual detail as the reds looked to keep up this seasons new superstition of startling sloppily, but Alisson stood tall, before Liverpool grew into the game and went ahead with an emphatic Mo Salah penalty. West Ham did equalise with a nice Bowen diving header, which led to questions of the defence yet again, but Klopp's men took the 2nd half over with a much more commanding performance as Darwin scores an exquisite goal, while Jota killed the game off with a poachers finish. The trio also discuss things such as: The Trent-less inverted full back The midfield synergy Jones' growth Darwin doing Darwin things All the forwards competing for the per 90 goal involvement
On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Karl Matchett and Dave Hendrick assess the performances and analyse the key moment from Liverpool's 1-3 win at LASK. The lads also cover many topics, besides. The team selection is discussed, especially the incredibly raw right side of the pitch which caused a lot of pressure to come on an experimental midfield. The lads look at the contributions of Ryan Gravenberch and Stefan Bajcetic in particular and ask if it's wise to persist with our new tactical model. Endo's patchy outing is discussed. Darwin Nunez comes under examination too, with his "number 9" play and his cool penalty coming in for particular praise. Lastly, there's a lot of talk about getting some adults in the room in the shape of MacAllister, Gomez and the outrageously effective pair of Szoboszlai and Salah. A Europa League away win which followed a familiar pattern for the season but once the results continue in the same vein, RAW will be fun.
