Old Skool: Liverpool Back In The Big Time!

Gags and Dave are as excited as can be expected as they react to Liverpool being on the verge of breaking a world record as Alisson's signing is all but complete. In this podcast they focus on so much more than that, they look at what it means, how Liverpool can afford it, the overhaul of the squad in the last 18 months and the job that has been done by Klopp and Edwards. If you're a Michael Edwards hater I really would not listen in as the AI Old Skoolers gush over his accomplishments in the last few years with Jurgen Klopp at the helm. There's even time to talk about the rumours of the exits of Origi, Ings and the Ward transfer that is also imminent. If that isn't enough the crazy duo manage to gush about Daniel Sturridge being a squad option for Liverpool and how having that quality around is always a good thing. So much positivity, as there should be - this is Old Skool on AnfieldIndex Pro!

Old Skool: Discussing England, Karius’ Future, Shaqiri’s transfer & Lovren

Gags and Dave get together to go through the hot topics in football as well as the Liverpool sphere. They start off on the World Cup as England exited at the hands of Lovren's Croatia. Henderson's role in the England team is discussed as well as his performance in the semi-final. They then move on to talk about Karius and the precarious position that Liverpool are in with their goalkeeping situation and how Danny Ward is not the answer. With the imminent signing of Xherdan Shaqiri, Gags asks Dave to go through his plus points and why Liverpool fans should get onboard with signing him. The boys sign off by wishing Lovren well and an admission from Dave that he would enjoy seeing Dejan win the World Cup!  All this and more on Old Skool!

Old Skool: Another Reunion!

Gags and Dave are joined by an Anfield Index Podcast OG, the most lovable Welshman himself, Jim Fishlock on this special episode of Old Skool. With the Anfield Index Podcast recently recording it's 200th episode Gags asks Jim about his start with AI and also his favourite memories of his time podcasting on AI. The conversation moves onto Jim's view on Fabinho and Keita moves. Dave then discusses the links to Insigne and Asensio whilst Jim discusses how Liverpool FC will never spend £150m on a single player. The World Cup was the final discussion about the quality of football on show even though it has been an enjoyable tournament. The lads then give their predictions on who they think will win the tournament. All this and more on Old Skool!

Old Skool: LFC’s Transfer Windows – Then and Now

Gags and Dave get together to talk about Liverpool's transfer windows of the past. After an initial chat about the World Cup so far, they discuss Liverpool transfer windows immediately after World Cups since the transfer window system was started in the summer of 2002. The AnfieldIndex originals then discuss the last few windows at Liverpool FC before Jurgen Klopp joined and then compare all of that to what the Reds have done since Klopp and Edwards and their team have been working together. Plenty of nostalgia, fun and comparisons to then and now!

Old Skool: Sir Kenny Dalglish

Old Skool: Naby Keita – The Game Changer

On this episode of Old Skool, Gags Tandon & Dave Hendrick are trying to finally get this podcast about Naby Keita published. They've attempted it twice before, in the summer last year and then in the January window too. On both occasions, the likely Keita deal didn't come through. However, Naby is now going to be a Red very soon so the AI Podcast originals give their honest views on the player and what he could bring to the squad. They focus on his impressive attributes and what qualities he brings to the team that aren't currently there. What effect that could have, could the team change formation? Does Fabinho compliment Naby Keita and how would a team with the two look? Dave also speaks about goalkeepers and the options out there. All this and more as AI Pro goes Old Skool!

On this episode of Old Skool, Gags Tandon & Dave Hendrick are reunited with Marco Lopes!
