Werder Bremen’s Milot Rashica was, just last month, rumoured to have captured the attention of Liverpool’s scouting department, something Agim Amedi has seemingly confirmed.

Amedi is the president of the Kosovan Football Federation and he has claimed that both Liverpool and RB Leipzig are chasing the 23-year-old’s signature.

Amedi was speaking on SyriTV when he made the comments regarding Rashica and his future.

“There are many requests for him.

“I know that Liverpool in the Premier League want him, but also Leipzig in the Bundesliga. I am sure that he will be advised in the best way to make his decision.”

As stated here on Anfield Index when we reported on The Reds’ interest in Rashica back in April, he ‘is a right-footed attacker who plays on the left side of a front three. He can also operate centrally if needed. Judging by this information, he would be an ideal backup option for Liverpool’s Sadio Mané.’

Rashica is reported to have a £33 million release clause in his current Werder Bremen contract. However, that fee could be lower if the club finds itself relegated at the end of this season.

Bundesliga football returns on May 16th with a view to completing the 2019/20 campaign. Liverpool fans everywhere will be able to keep close tabs on Milot Rashica’s performances as well as those of Jürgen Klopp’s prime target, Timo Werner.
