Will this be Liverpool's starting eleven to face Arsenal on Saturday in the Premier League?
Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday night when they travel south to London where they will play Arsenal.
Jürgen Klopp’s side has won its last two games – against RB Leipzig and Wolves – and should be high on confidence with players such as Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah displaying fine form for their countries over the international break too.
The Reds are currently without Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Divock Origi.
On Friday, Klopp confirmed that Bobby Firmino is back to full fitness and available for selection. However, I think Liverpool’s number 9 will have to settle for a place on the bench at the Emirates.
Alisson Becker will start in goals for Liverpool with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson on either flank of the back four. Nat Phillips won the Liverpool Player of the Month award for March and I expect the centre-back to hold onto his starting place for now. Phillips will partner in Ozan Kabak in central defence.
In midfield, the excellent Fabinho will play the ‘6’ role with Gini Wijnaldum and Thiago Alcântara alongside him.
The front three will likely be Jota, Salah, and Sadio Mané. Salah will probably play more centrally and in a more advanced out-and-out striker position for The Reds.
Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3) vs Arsenal: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Thiago; Jota, Salah, Mané
