Liverpool Set for Premier League Title Parade on Bank Holiday Monday

Liverpool have officially confirmed plans for a victory parade to celebrate their Premier League title triumph, bringing the city together for what promises to be a memorable day.

Celebrations in Store for Liverpool Fans

The Reds clinched their historic 20th Premier League title in emphatic fashion, dismantling Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield on Sunday. With the championship secured, attention now turns to the grand celebrations that await.

Unlike the behind-closed-doors celebrations of the pandemic-hit 2019/20 season, fans this time will have the full experience. Liverpool have announced that the Premier League title parade will take place on Monday, 26 May, perfectly timed with the Bank Holiday to allow maximum turnout.

As the club confirmed, “The Leader of Liverpool City Council, Councillor Liam Robinson, has formally invited the club to take part in a victory parade to celebrate the Premier League triumph and LFC has officially accepted the offer.” The parade will commence at 2:30pm BST, just one day after the season concludes.

Route and Details for Liverpool’s Parade

Liverpool City Council is preparing for what could be a record-breaking event, estimating that up to one million fans may line the streets. A familiar 15km parade route has been mapped out—identical to the journeys seen after the Champions League win in 2019 and the domestic cup double in 2022.

The parade will begin at Allerton Maze in the south of Liverpool before heading northbound via Queens Drive towards the Fiveways roundabout, then onwards to the Rocket flyover. The full path includes:

  • Queens Drive

  • Mill Bank

  • West Derby Road

  • Islington

  • Leeds Street

  • The Strand

  • Finishing at Blundell Street

This well-known route allows fans from across the city to join the celebrations, echoing the scenes of jubilation from previous triumphs.

Community Spirit at the Heart of Liverpool’s Victory

Councillor Liam Robinson captured the mood, saying: “We’re delighted to officially invite Liverpool Football Club to parade around the city on May 26. A Liverpool victory parade is more than football – it’s a celebration of our city’s pride, passion and community spirit.”

Robinson also emphasised the scale of preparation: “A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes in preparation for an event of this size and scale, and there has already been months of careful planning taking place as the Team Liverpool approach – which we saw work so well throughout Eurovision – comes to the fore again.”

With Arne Slot’s Liverpool delivering on the pitch and the city ready to honour their heroes, the Premier League title parade is set to be an unforgettable moment in club history.
