“Here we go” – Fabrizio Romano Confirms New Liverpool Signing
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Celtic youngster Dara Jikiemi, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Scotland Under-16 captain will sign a five year deal at the club and will join up immediately with the youth setup at Anfield.
The Reds have been in talks with the centre-back for months now, but they have finally made a breakthrough on the move.
Speaking on X, Romano said: “Liverpool have sealed deal to sign Scotland U16 captain Dara Jikiemi from Celtic, here we go!”
“Jikiemi has signed paperwork on Sunday to join #LFC on a five year contract.”

The move mirrors what Liverpool have done in the past to sign the likes of Harvey Elliott from Fulham, Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea and Trey Nyoni from Leicester City, just to name a few.
Ben Doak even joined from Celtic at the same age and impressed during his time at Liverpool before securing a permanent move to AFC Bournemouth.
A five year contract signals huge trust in the youngster to make strides towards the first-team over the next few years. Liverpool might just have another wonderkid on their books.
Of course expectations must be cooled, but this could prove to be a brilliant piece of business.
