Liverpool Told to Consider Move for Former Chelsea Forward

Mohamed Salah’s exit has left a huge void for Liverpool to fill in the summer transfer window.

RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is the frontrunner to replace the Egyptian King with the Reds already submitting an £86m bid for the 19-year-old.

As it stands, no breakthrough has been made in negotiations with the German side.

A number of alternatives have been mentioned such as Brighton’s Yankubah Minteh, Koln’s Said El Mala and Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo.

But Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has thrown a new name into the mix…

Liverpool Told to Consider Christian Pulisic

Speaking on X, Fowler claimed that Liverpool should be looking at a move for AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic.

Fowler said: “Plenty of rumours about as to who’s going to LFC, one name I’ve not seen mentioned is Pulisic…”

“Good age, played in the Premier League, exciting player, I’d take him. Potentially a Salah type of pathway, thoughts?”

It’s fair to say that his suggestion wasn’t taken well by Liverpool supporters on the social media platform.

The 27-year-old has been a regular fixture at AC Milan since his arrival from Chelsea, scoring 42 goals and assisting 27 in 134 appearances for the club.

Pulisic has also been one of the key figures in USA’s recent improvements under Mauricio Pochettino.

With just one year remaining on his deal at Milan, he could be seen as a cheap option in comparison to the crazy prices being floated around this summer.

However, for the calibre of player Liverpool need to replace a legend like Mohamed Salah, I’m sure that Pulisic sits a fair way down the pecking order.
