Philippe Coutinho is back and we are assured he will “give everything” for Liverpool this season.
The Brazilian magician was at the centre of one of this summer’s highest-profile transfer sagas but the bottom line is he has remained a Red, despite Barcelona’s pesky persistence.
Compatriot Ronaldinho is sure Liverpool fans will see Coutinho back to his best despite the distraction.
Ronaldinho said: “This season they will see him give everything for the club – that is the sort of player he is.
“Also, no player is going to refuse to play when it’s the World Cup at the end of the season.
“The Liverpool fans have nothing to worry about – I do not believe any of the stories about him refusing to play for the club. I know him that is not his way.”
Ronaldinho, however, is sure Barca will come back to get their man – but the bookmakers don’t agree.
Coutinho is under contract at Anfield until 2022 and the bookies believe the he will not leave – at least during the January transfer window.
SkyBet are offering 2/7 that Coutinho remains at Liverpool after the window shuts on February 3 2018, while it’s 5/2 that he’ll leave for any club.
Club sponsors BetVictor have a selection of Coutinho transfer specials and they’re offering 3/1 he will go to Barca in the winter transfer window, while Chelsea (10/1), Bayern Munich (12/1) and Manchester City (12/1) are also in their reckoning.
That said, BetVictor are also offering odds that Coutinho will finish the season as the club’s top-scorer – you can get 25/1 on that.
For those who don’t fancy risking their money, matched betting might be worth a try.
It’s a proven system that many people use to generate extra cash from home. It involves bookmaker bonuses but it is not gambling as all bets are covered.
It’s so reliable that many people use it as an alternative to a second job.
The basic idea is to place bets on multiple outcomes to make sure your stake is covered and to trigger a bonus such as a free bet – which then becomes your profit.
Anyone can do it, even those who don’t like betting or sport and it’s particularly popular with students and full-time parents.
So, if you’re looking for a way to earn some extra cash in your spare time, it might be worth looking into.
