With the Premier League edging ever-closer to a return, the fixture schedules for the first few rounds of games back have been confirmed.
Liverpool’s pursuit of a 19th league title gets back underway on Sunday, June 21st in the Merseyside derby against Everton. That game kicks off at 7pm and is live on Sky Sports.
Jürgen Klopp’s men lead Manchester City by 25 points at the top of the table with 9 games remaining to play. The Reds need just six more points to secure their first league trophy in 30 years.
After the Everton game, Liverpool then welcome Crystal Palace to what will be an eerily quiet and supporter-less Anfield on Wednesday, June 24th. Kick-off there is at 8:15pm and, again, this game is on Sky Sports.
Liverpool then have eight days before their next fixture, away to title rivals Manchester City. That game has not been confirmed for the Etihad Stadium yet. It may be held at a neutral venue. The game is on Thursday, July 2nd and kicks off at 8:15pm.
Hopefully, Klopp and co will have sewn up the title by the time those three games are played.
Liverpool’s next three fixtures:
- Everton vs Liverpool – Sunday, June 21st @ 7pm
- Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – Wednesday, June 24th @ 8:15pm
- Manchester City vs Liverpool – Thursday, July 2nd @ 8:15pm
