It’s been a remarkable season and the club’s first title since 1989-90 when the Reds finished nine points clear of Aston Villa during a season where they also lifted the Charity Shield and got to the FA Cup Semi-Final.

It was a squad bursting with talent, boasting the likes of Ian Rush, John Barnes, Peter Beardsley and Alan Hansen- with Barnes finishing second-top scorer in the division with 22 goals, and 28 in all competitions.

That Liverpool team demolished teams during that campaign, doing the double over Everton and famously beating Crystal Palace 9-0!

The likes of Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane now join them as legends, etching their name into the history of the club.

The same goes for Jurgen Klopp, who will undoubtedly go down as one of the greats, with a Champions League win and now a Premier League title victory achieved in successive seasons.
