Will this be Liverpool's lineup to face Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday?

Liverpool travel to the south coast this weekend as they play Brighton in the Premier League in Saturday’s early game.

The Reds are currently without Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keïta, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcântara will face late fitness tests to determine if they are available to face Brighton.

After Wednesday night’s 2-0 Champions League defeat against Atalanta, Liverpool will be looking to bounce right back with a win against The Seagulls.

I think Jürgen Klopp will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation for Saturday’s game.

Alisson Becker will continue in goal, as expected. The Brazil international stopper remains one of the best goalkeepers in world football right now.

At right-back, it’s likely to be Neco Williams in place of the injured Alexander-Arnold. James Milner started at right-back against Leicester City and played the full game. He also played every minute of the Atalanta fixture on Wednesday night and, at 34, a third start in a week might be a little too far for ‘Millie’.

Joël Matip and Fabinho will be the partnership in central defence with Andy Robertson starting at left-back.

Henderson stepped up his training regime this week and he could well start Saturday’s game. It could be Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum as the midfield two.

Mohamed Salah will lead the line from the front with a three-man supply line of Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané just behind him.
