Will this be Liverpool’s starting eleven to face Wolves on Sunday night?

Liverpool meet Wolves in the Premier League this Sunday night at Anfield. We’ve had a look at what starting eleven Jürgen Klopp may opt for.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the last couple of months, you’ll be well aware of the crazy injury list Klopp and co are dealing with at the moment.

This weekend, Liverpool will be without Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcântara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Xherdan Shaqiri and Naby Keïta.

Andy Robertson and club captain Jordan Henderson both picked up knocks against Ajax on Tuesday but are expected to start against Wolves.

Caoimhin Kelleher should start in goals again after impressing with his saves and distribution in the win against Ajax.

Neco Williams was also much-improved on Tuesday night and should start again with Milner and Alexander-Arnold still out. Joël Matip and Fabinho will probably start in the middle of the back four with Robertson at left-back.

Klopp could go for the 4-2-3-1 formation again meaning the midfield duo is likely to be Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum.

Mohamed Salah should lead the line from the front, supported by Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané behind him.

Liverpool travel to Denmark to play FC Midtjylland in their final group game in the Champions League on Wednesday. However, that match is a non-event with The Reds having already won the group. Therefore, Klopp is likely to go full strength against Wolves and rest most of the senior squad for the FC Midtjylland fixture.
