Liverpool 0 – 3 Nottingham Forest – PL Player Ratings
The Premier League’s return after the international break saw Forest arrive at Anfield, with both historic teams struggling to find form this season
The lineup and subsequent ratings are listed below.
Alisson Becker – 5.0
The giant Brazilian stopper was unable to stop the rot despite making one great save in the second half.
Curtis Jones – 4.0
The versatile midfielder was tasked with adding more control and movement through the likes but he looked misplaced and unsure throughout.
Subbed – 78 mins
Milos Kerkez – 4.0
The Hungarian international was unable to show any sign of his Bournemouth form as he couldn’t add relatability on the flank.
Subbed – 68 mins
Ibrahima Konaté – 3.0
The French international defender was again unable to show any sign of form as he couldn’t add anything to a backline that was taken down too often.
Subbed – 55 mins
Virgil van Dijk – 5.0
The captain and leader of this team were unable to rally their team into action as everything around them failed to reach even a mediocre level.
Dominik Szoboszlai – 6.0
The Hungarian skipper was the Reds’ best player and showed the fight and desire from his starting right-back slot. The game was gone by the time he entered midfield.
Ryan Gravenberch – 4.0
The Dutch midfielder was lacklustre and outgunned by stronger, more robust opponents. An inability to play against fast and competitive midfield groups is a concern.
Alexis Mac Allister – 4.0
The Argentina international was again a shadow of his former self as he looked slow and weak against a team built to outrun and outwork its opponents.
Cody Gakpo – 4.0
The Dutch attacker was weak and limited as the game passed him by. A huge man with Great potential who is failing to make sense of the huge new contract.
Alexander Isak – 4.0
The Sweden attacker was painfully lacking and seemed to be speaking a foreign language to his teammates.
Subbed – 68 mins
Mohamed Salah – 5.0
The Egyptian King was good in the first half but drifted away as the game and result left Anfield. His last season as a Red resembles that of Steven Gerrard.
