Everton favourites to sign former Liverpool star
It has been an incredibly quiet January transfer window from a Liverpool perspective. However, there is potentially a deal about to happen that will raise some eyebrows on Merseyside.
Former Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson is enjoying the season of his life for Fulham, scoring nine goals and assisting five so far this season.
You’d be forgiven for forgetting the Welshman’s time at Anfield, having only made two senior appearances for the club, but he could be set to make a very rare transfer move.
With just six months remaining on his current contract at Craven Cottage, and talks seemingly at a standstill, Wilson is weighing up his potential options and of those is very interesting…

Everton pushing to sign Wilson
According to a report from Caught Offside, the 28-year-old is set to leave Fulham, whether that be this month or for free in the summer.
“Wilson is attracting serious interest from across the league, with Everton considered the most serious suitor at this stage,” the report reads.
“Brentford, Aston Villa, Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are also monitoring the situation closely.”
“Fulham tabled an offer to extend Wilson’s contract back in November, but discussions have slowed considerably in recent weeks.”
With Jack Grealish ruled out for a couple of months, it’ll be interesting to see whether Everton push to bring in the former Liverpool star in before the deadline this month.
