“For a manager of Liverpool, there’s always pressure,” Kuyt explained. “And if you ask Jurgen the same question, I think everyone showed at the stadium today, he was he was and is really loved. But al also he had to get results in for a club like like Liverpool.”

“In football you have to be really creative because every moment there can change something and I think what Mo Salah has done for Liverpool football club, there are not many players in the world who has such an impressive effect.”

Yet he also acknowledged football’s cycle of change. “There always comes a time that players say goodbye… but you just have to deal with it. That’s how life is in the world of football.”
