Jurgen Klopp has more decisions to make regarding team selection as Liverpool prepare for the most important couple of weeks in the club’s recent history.
Liverpool are still fighting for an epic double, pushing Manchester City all the way for the Premier League title and facing the mighty Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.
On Wednesday night, Manchester City predictably won comfortably against their neighbours at Old Trafford. That win put Pep Guardiola’s side back to the top of the league, a point ahead of Liverpool.
Friday night sees Huddersfield Town visit Anfield as Klopp and his men look to keep the pressure on City with another win.
With the first leg against Barcelona to follow just five days later, Klopp may well be looking at rotating some of the starting eleven, although the win against Huddersfield is a must. Anything else would almost certainly finish The Reds’ title chances and possibly derail their Champions League bid.
Below, I’ve put two possible lineups – the good news is that Liverpool have almost no injury concerns now with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the only player you could rule out as he continues his road back to full fitness after a year out.
