Alisson Becker returned to training on Friday and is back in contention for this one, whilst Ibrahima Konate is fully fit and will partner Virgil van Dijk at the back.

In midfield, Florian Wirtz remains a doubt through illness. Mohamed Salah, however, is “available for a few minutes” according to Slot.

Wataru Endo is expected to return to the squad next week, but just misses out on this one.

Long-term absentees Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley, Stefan Bajcetic, Jayden Danns and Hugo Ekitike all remain sidelined.
