Journalist Provides Exciting Liverpool Contract Update
The summer transfer window saw Liverpool spend a record-breaking £450m on new signings and some reports are suggesting that they could splash the cash again in January.
However, the Reds could instead be about to agree new deals with players already in the current squad. More specifically, the midfield trio of Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have all reportedly held contract talks with the club recently.

Liverpool ‘Closer’ to Agreement with Ryan Gravenberch
Speaking on X, Schira said: “Exclusive: Ryan Gravenberch is getting closer and closer to extend his contract with Liverpool for a long-term.”
“Ready a new deal until 2030 or 2031. Last details on the length.”

Schira also dropped a transfer bombshell that hasn’t been reported elsewhere, claiming that Gravenberch turned down a ‘huge’ move to Saudi Arabia last summer.
“A Saudi club had submitted a huge bid to the Dutch last summer, but he turned it down to stay at Liverpool.”
The 23-year-old’s current contract runs until June 2028 and has become a crucial part of the current side under Slot.
There’s no surprise at all that Liverpool are pushing to agree a new long-term contract, which would see the world-class Dutchman remain at Anfield throughout the prime years of his career.
Since his move from Bayern Munich in 2023, Gravenberch has already made 99 appearances for the Reds. He has managed seven goals and eight assists in his time at the club.
