Reports over the weekend claimed that Liverpool have made an enquiry about the possible availability of FC Bayern attacker Kingsley Coman.
As yet, it is still unclear if the rumours contain any substance but more than one source has now claimed The Reds are interested in signing Coman.
Firstly, beIN Sports published their story based on reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport. It claims that Liverpool may have already made a bid for Coman of €35 million with FC Bayern hoping for a far higher fee of around €50 million.
Coman, 23, is out of contract at FC Bayern next summer so the German Bundesliga champions may be under pressure to sell the France international soon.
On Sunday afternoon, German journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed that there was definite truth in the burgeoning rumours about Liverpool’s pursuit of Coman.
Update #Coman: Yes, #LFC is definitely interested in signing him and they are in contact with his management. But right now, it’s not a hot topic. #FCBayern still want him to extend, especially Nagelsmann. But Kingsley‘s father forces his departure to 🏴. @SPORT1

Coman has earned a reputation as quite an injury-prone player in his young career so far. If any potential move is going to progress then it will also have to wait until Coman and France’s involvement in this summer’s European Championship has ended.
