For the first time in eleven years Liverpool FC recorded a victory away at Arsenal, whether that be at the Emirates or Highbury. It was the first time ever that Liverpool had won at the Emirates so it was a very sweet moment regardless of quality of side that they were pitted against. It was […]

On Friday 15th of July 2011 it was announced that Stewart Downing had completed his long awaited move to Liverpool Football Club. It has to be said that this signing has been somewhat underwhelming for most Liverpool fans, especially with the suggested price tag of £20 million. Although Stewart Downing may not be player that will set the world alight, he still has a lot to offer Liverpool. Also being a left-footed wide player he is something Liverpool have been missing for a long, long time.
Who would've thought that we would end the 2010/11 season off fighting for European qualification and having probably the best attacking duo in the Premier League? A look at the effect of Kenny Dalglish

The rest of the Premier League took note as fantastic Liverpool gave a five star performance at Craven Cottage last night. Liverpool scored five goals with another hat-trick from Maxi Rodriguez, Luis Suarez scoring in his second consecutive and Dirk Kuyt matching a 10 year record by scoring in five consecutive games. Liverpool were breaking […]

The longest myth going about Lucas, has been that he only plays the simple pass, and this is mainly sideways, or back-wards. This brief post is aimed to demonstrate he really doesn't, and I have taken 3 randomly selected games from this season which Lucas featured in to help explain.
The first instalment of this feature was a success so we are going to make it into a regular feature every time Liverpool win in the Premier League. The latest game was yesterday's win at the Stadium of Light against, a struggling, Sunderland. Immediately after the game a lot of supporters, myself included, put the win down to a bit of lady luck that went our way after half an hour of the first half. On second thoughts I'd like to change my mind and put it down to a mixture of lady luck, which every team requires, and some very good performances in the Liverpool team.
SamSports looks at Lucas Leiva's performances earlier this season, during the Roy Hodgson era. How has he done? Why should his performances be classed as impressive? Where can he improve? All those questions answered in this article.
